Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation/Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. You will perform janitorial tasks, handle cleaning chemicals, and support safety training requirements in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ months of sanitation or janitorial experience in a warehouse setting, with preference for pallet jack familiarity and distribution center exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months warehouse sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Warehouse or Distribution Center experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
