Job summary

Performance Food Group’s distribution arm seeks a sanitation and warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe workspace across dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, adherence to safety policies, and timely completion of tasks.

The role requires 6+ months in sanitation or janitorial work, ability to handle cleaning chemicals per hazmat guidelines, and a post-offer drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation tasks in warehouse, including dry, cooler and freezer areas.
• Complies with health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports unsafe conditions or acts to ensure safety.
• Operates cleaning equipment and handles cleaning chemicals per hazmat sheets.
• Completes assigned training modules and duties accurately.
