Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate in Kendallville, IN to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment. Roles include general janitorial duties across dry, cooler, and freezer areas and may extend to office spaces as assigned.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6+ months of sanitation/cleaning experience, and passing a post-offer drug test and background check. Pallet jack handling and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
