Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. You will perform janitorial tasks and support general sanitation throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include following health and safety policies, reporting unsafe conditions, handling cleaning chemicals per hazmat sheets, and completing Pure Safety training modules. Some pallet jack operation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
