Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a reliable Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe facility across dry, cooler, and freezer areas. You will perform general janitorial tasks, follow health and safety policies, and help keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to hazmat guidelines. Prior janitorial experience is preferred; pallet jack experience is a plus in our warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
