Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring a night janitorial associate in South Carolina to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the warehouse, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. A pallet jack may be used to move refuse to receptacles, with safety rules strictly followed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) and 0–6 months’ janitorial experience. Candidates must pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup.
• Handles cleaning chemicals following hazmat material sheets; complete Pure Safety training modules.
• Complete all cleaning tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash as needed.
• Complies with all health, safety, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Support warehouse sanitation and safety goals.

Schedule: Sun-Thurs 3:30pm-until

Pay: $14 per hr Plus $2 per hr attendance bonus

Position Summary

Performs general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles. General cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pick up and use of compactor. May be required to work with cleaning chemicals. Follows all safety rules and completes all duties as assigned per business need.

Position Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines. Reports any and all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates. Is certified to operate all required equipment.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pick up and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets. Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• Performs other duties as assigned
