Job summary

Performance Foodservice in South Carolina is hiring for a Night Janitor in the warehouse. Schedule: Sun-Thurs 3:30pm until; Pay: $14 per hour plus $2 per hour attendance bonus.

You will perform general cleaning in dry, cooler, and freezer areas, operate a pallet jack as needed, follow safety rules, and complete related duties. Education: High School Diploma or GED; Experience: 0–6 months; post-offer drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• Required Experience: 0 - 6 Months; general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience,
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pick up and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Performs general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles. General cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pick up and use of compactor. May be required to work with cleaning chemicals. Follows all safety rules and completes all duties as assigned per business need.

Position Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines. Reports any and all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates. Is certified to operate all required equipment.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pick up and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
