Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse Associate to perform janitorial and sanitation tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer areas in our Tampa warehouse. The role emphasizes safety, timely cleaning, and adherence to health guidelines.

Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, mopping, chemical handling per hazmat sheets, and operating a pallet jack as needed. Overtime and multi-temperature work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10–35 pounds and up to 90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Completes all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May operate a pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes assignments timely and accurately.

Position Details:

Position Purpose:

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation-related job tasks in the warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment
• Electric pallet jack experience a plus
