Job summary

Core-Mark in Portland, OR is seeking a reliable Janitor to help maintain a safe, clean warehouse environment. The role covers cleaning in dry, cooler and freezer areas, with duties aligned to health and safety policies.

You will work Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with competitive pay up to $20.00 per hour DOE and benefits from day one. Prior sanitation or janitorial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• The Janitor performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas.
• May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately. May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Pay is up to $20.00 DOE (Depending On Experience)
• Shift is Monday to Friday 5:00am-1:30pm with a 30 minute lunch
