Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Sanitation/Warehouse associate in the Sacramento area to maintain a clean, safe, multi-temperature warehouse environment. You will perform janitorial and sanitation tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer areas, operating pallet jacks and following all health and safety policies.

Responsibilities include timely completion of training modules and adherence to safety guidelines. Candidates must pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and generally up to 90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry areas.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and sanitation tasks across warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Follows health and safety policies; reports unsafe conditions.
• Operates pallet jack to move refuse/trash and products as needed.
• Completes training modules and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

• $22.25 per hour
• Sunday - Thursday
  • 5:00PM - 1:30AM

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Warehouse Sanitation performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred qualifications

• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Pallet jack experience
