Job summary

Core-Mark is hiring a Janitor to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6+ months of janitorial experience, and the ability to pass a drug test and background check. Shift is weekdays, early morning hours, with opportunities for growth and benefits after onboarding.

Qualifications

• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in warehouse (dry, cooler, and freezer areas).
• May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
• Follows health and safety policies; reports unsafe conditions immediately.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related tasks.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat sheets.
• Completes required safety training modules.

Position Details:

• Pay is up to $20.00 DOE (Depending On Experience)
• Shift is Monday to Friday 5:00am-1:30pm with a 30 minute lunch

Position Purpose:

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Janitor ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Janitor performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas.
• May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately. May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment
• Pallet jack experience
