Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate for the 1st shift in Bolingbrook, IL. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with a starting pay of $19.00–$20.25 per hour (includes a $1.25 freezer differential).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 3+ months sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial experience.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Preferred: 1+ years sanitation/cleaning in warehouse; Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed by hazmat material sheets.
• Completes Pure Safety training modules on time.
• May operate a pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to designated receptacles.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.

• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• 3+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience

• 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment
