Vistar is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe workplace across the facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. This is a full-time role starting early morning with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include following health and safety policies, performing janitorial tasks, handling cleaning chemicals, and completing required safety training modules. Potential growth through essential work supporting America's food distribution system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Complies with health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports unsafe conditions or acts promptly to ensure safety.
• Performs cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash pickup.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat sheets.
• Completes Pure Safety training modules on time.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse to receptacles.
• Completes tasks timely and accurately.
• May work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
