Job summary

The Judge Group in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Safety Specialist to support a proactive safety culture within our distribution center. You will work with Operations Leadership and warehouse staff to ensure OSHA compliance, prevent injuries, and promote safe behaviors daily.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in OH&S or related field, 3–5 years in a warehouse setting, and relevant certifications such as GSP/ASP. This on-site role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or related field.
• GSP or ASP certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of warehouse experience.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of 6S methodology.
• Ability to train and facilitate safety sessions.
• Leadership and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of safety policies, SOPs and guidelines to prevent injuries and ensure compliance.
• Analyze safety data for trends and coordinate improvement actions with leadership.
• Conduct incident investigations for all incidents and near misses.
• Manage workers' compensation case processes.
• Perform safety inspections and observations.
• Provide safety training to new and current employees.
• Coordinate improvements with Operations and evaluate safety compliance.
• Develop and enforce safety plans and recognize safe behaviors.
• Implement 6S in warehouse areas.
• Lead safety committee actions and communicate updates to management.
