Job summary

S&S Activewear is seeking a Safety Specialist to elevate our safety program within the warehouse environment. You will report to the Safety Manager and collaborate with Operations Leadership and frontline associates to promote a proactive safety culture and OSHA compliance.

The role requires 3-5 years in a warehouse setting, a relevant degree, and strong training and communication skills. This full-time, exempt position offers a stable schedule and a focus on safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Business Administration or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of Safety Rules & Regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• GSP or ASP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of safety policies and SOPs to prevent injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze safety data for trends and communicate insights with leadership.
• Conduct incident investigations and manage workers' compensation matters.
• Perform safety inspections and observations, and deliver training.
• Support improvement projects and enforce safety plans and 6S across the warehouse.
• Develop action plans and coordinate safety committee activities.
