Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Safety Specialist to lead safety initiatives across warehouse operations. You will conduct site visits, audits, and coaching to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety programs.

The role focuses on incident investigations, data analysis, and driving corrective actions to reduce risk while supporting site leadership in maintaining safety records and performance. Strong communication and field presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.
• 2–5 years of safety experience in warehouse, logistics, or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations.
• Experience with incident investigations and safety reporting.
• Understanding of warehouse and logistics operations, dock safety.
• Familiarity with TRIR, incident rates, and leading indicators.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Field leadership with site visits, audits, and safety observations to identify hazards.
• Provide real-time coaching and corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and ensure proper reporting.
• Track corrective actions and support OSHA-aligned injury reporting.
• Analyze safety performance metrics to spot trends and gaps.
• Support safety reviews with actionable insights for sites.
• Assist rollout of safety SOPs, checklists, and training requirements.
