Job summary

S&S Activewear, Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Safety Specialist (Onsite) to lead the safety program, ensure OSHA compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture in the warehouse. The role involves training, incident investigations, and continuous safety improvements.

The position is on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a salary range of $78,400 to $88,000, negotiable based on experience. Join us to advance safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or related field preferred.
• GSP or ASP certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and observation.
• Strong knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and training capability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintains working knowledge of S&S Activewear safety policies, procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines to prevent injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze safety data for trends and improvements; communicate plans to leadership.
• Perform and review incident investigations for incidents and near misses.
• Review and manage workers' compensation case management.
• Conduct documented safety inspections and safety observations.
• Provide comprehensive safety training to new and existing employees; refresher training as needed.
• Communicate safety updates to Management, Safety Team, and all employees.
• Assist Operations with safety improvements by researching requirements and evaluating proposals.
• Implement safety plans and enforce safe behaviors; recognize compliance.
• Implement, enforce, and oversee 6S in all warehouse areas.
• Develop action plans for safety initiatives and coordinate safety committee activities.
