Job summary

S&S Activewear in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Safety Specialist to partner with Operations leadership and warehouse teams to foster a proactive safety culture and a compliant program that meets OSHA standards while boosting morale and inclusion for newcomers.

The position reports to the Safety Manager, offers a salary of $78,400–$88,000, a Monday–Friday schedule (12pm–8:30pm) based on DC needs, and is on-site at 2601 Quorum Drive.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to develop and conduct safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of company safety policies, SOPs, and guidelines to prevent injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze safety data for trends and communicate with leadership with improvement plans.
• Perform incident investigations for all incidents and near misses.
• Manage workers' compensation case management.
• Conduct documented safety inspections and safety observations.
• Provide comprehensive safety training to new and existing employees and refresher trainings.
• Communicate changes in safety regulations to management and staff.
• Assist with safety improvement projects and evaluate compliance.
• Implement safety plans and programs and enforce safe behaviors.
• Oversee 6S in all warehouse areas.
• Develop action plans for safety initiatives and coordinate safety committee activities.
