ManpowerGroup is seeking a Warehouse Record Center Specialist in Chesapeake, VA to support daily record processing and order fulfillment. The role requires attention to detail in a fast-paced physical environment and strict adherence to procedures.

The position involves reading and following English labels, using a proprietary system, operating a handheld scanner, and moving pallets and boxes with hand carts and pallet jacks. Shift is 9 hours with a lunch and breaks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift frequently during shift.
• Ability to read labels/instructions and follow procedures.
• Experience or comfort using hand trucks and pallet jacks on concrete surfaces.
• Able to operate a proprietary system to track orders and locate boxes.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Record Center Specialist to join their team. As a Warehouse Record Center Specialist, you will be part of the operations team supporting day-to-day record processing and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, comfort working in a fast-paced physical environment, and the ability to follow procedures accurately to keep orders moving.

Job Title: Warehouse Record Center Specialist

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Pay Range: $17.81

Shift: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Process incoming and outgoing orders by moving and arranging boxes containing files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Read and write English to follow labels, instructions, and order details.
• Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to support accurate order fulfillment.
• Load, shrink wrap, and move pallets and boxes using hand carts and pallet jacks, including at ground level or on carts.

What's Needed?

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes ranging from 10 lbs to 100 lbs on a regular basis without assistance.
• Experience or comfort safely operating hand trucks and pallet jacks while walking on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Ability to work independently to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation.
• Ability to climb and balance on ladders as needed for the role.
