Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Record Center Specialist in Norfolk, VA. You will support day-to-day record processing and order fulfillment, lifting and moving boxes, using a scanner and a proprietary tracking system. This is a temp-to-perm role with a structured 9-hour shift schedule.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to read/write English, and experience with hand trucks/pallet jacks. The company offers a path to full-time employment and exposure to logistics operations.

Qualifications

Ability to lift 10–100 lbs regularly.
Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, kneel and twist for extended periods.
Must read and write English to follow labels and orders.
Experience operating hand trucks and pallet jacks, inclines and stairs.
Able to climb and balance on ladders and move carts and pallets safely.

Responsibilities

Process incoming and outgoing orders by moving and arranging boxes of files, books, binders, backups and other materials.
Lift, carry, and transport boxes manually and with hand carts on varied surfaces.
Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and locate boxes.
Operate a hand-held scanner to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts, and load boxes onto pallets and trucks.
