Job summary

Würth Industry USA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor - Receiving to lead Warehouse Associates in receiving, drive site performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires planning staff schedules, interviewing and coaching, managing performance, safety training, and collaboration with other departments.

Weekend and shift specifics follow a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30am–3:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in a distribution/warehouse or logistics role with at least 4 direct reports.
• Material handling and forklift experience required.
• Experience motivating, developing, and directing people.
• Knowledge of warehouse, transportation and logistics best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plans work schedules and assigns duties to maintain staff for effective performance.
• Interviewing and providing feedback to HR team and Warehouse Manager.
• Manages and directs work of the team, including hiring, performance appraisals and budget.
• Lead and motivate a large team and foster a collaborative environment.
• Implement training programs including onboarding for new staff.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing and labor relations to meet operations.
• Assist with design and implementation of work methods and procedures for shipments and inventory.
• Collaborate with other departments to address warehouse-related issues.
• Coordinate with sales and purchasing for warehouse activities.
• Develop project plans and communicate progress.
• Review work for proper execution and outcomes.
• Maintain and repair warehouse equipment and coordinate with vendors.
• Support day-to-day operations and ensure safe, efficient equipment use.
• Ensure safety procedures and OSHA compliance in the department.
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly; oversee building/grounds maintenance.
• Suggest process improvements to boost productivity and quality.
