Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED and ability to read and interpret safety rules and purchase orders.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and set daily receiving schedule.
• Print and process receiving orders; maintain receiving logs.
• Notify purchasing and accounts payable of damages or incorrect counts.
• Allocate storage space and monitor inventory levels.
• Ensure warehouse goals and health/safety standards are met.
• Operate RF scanners to verify orders.

Warehouse Receiving Supervisor Job Purpose:

Responsible for monitoring, processing, and recording a company's incoming deliveries including merchandise, stock, materials, and supplies in a warehouse environment.

Warehouse Receiver Job Duties:

• Receive incoming deliveries
• Set daily receiving schedule
• Print Receiving orders
• Ensure receiving area is cleared for current deliveries
• Notify purchasing and accounts payable of any damages or incorrect counts
• Allocate storage space in warehouse for new products
• Notify purchasing department of any inventory shortages
• Maintain receiving logs
• Ensures warehouse goals are met
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Operates scanners so that the proper order is received
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

Warehouse Receiving Supervisor Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Required; Ability to Read, Analyze, and Interpret Documents such as Safety Rules, Operating Instructions, Procedures and Common Technical Manuals, and Purchase Orders; Previous Experience Working in a Warehouse Preferred; Experience Working with an RF Scanner Preferred; Keen Attention to Detail; Ability to Lift Heavy Objects; Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of Time; Positive Attitude; Self-Motivated; Active; Safety Conscious; Ability to Work on Multiple Tasks in a Fast Paced, Busy Environment; Great Communication Skills; Ability to Work Well on a Team but Be Self-Motivated and Independent at Times
