Job summary

McLane is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to join our distribution team in Texas. You will inspect products on arrival, document discrepancies, and coordinate with carriers to ensure proper sorting and handling.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to company standards. This position offers a starting hourly rate of $18.25 with benefits beginning after 60 days, plus opportunities for advancement in a culture focused on teamwork and continued training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferably have previous receiving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Examine condition of product as it arrives from carriers.
• Document overages/shorts/damages, expiration dates, temps, and trailer condition.
• Direct outside carriers and unloaders on sorting product.
• Follow and maintain product integrity per McLane standards.
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders, and assign doors.
• Cover for Receiving Clerk as needed; work independently or in a team.
