Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to join our team. This role receives new and returned product, ensures items are saleable, and controls the inbound flow of the dock to support efficient distribution.

We offer a pay rate of $20.50 per hour, Monday–Friday with a 1 am start. Benefits begin after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance, plus vacation, sick leave, holidays, pet insurance, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Examine condition of product as it arrives from carriers.
• Document overages / shorts / damages, expiration dates, product temperature, trailer condition, pests or tampering.
• Direct outside carriers and unloaders on how to sort and segregate product.
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders into computer and assign doors.
• Cover for Receiving Clerk as needed and comply with safety rules.
