Job summary

McLane Company in Longmont, CO is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to ensure incoming goods are saleable and flow properly through the dock. You will inspect items from carriers, document discrepancies, and guide unloading crews while maintaining product integrity.

The role requires teamwork, safety focus, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced distribution center. Paid hourly with a schedule Sunday–Thursday 8:00pm–4:30am, compensation ranges from $21.00 to $27.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferably have previous receiving experience.
• Read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive products from carriers and ensure they are saleable and ready for resale.
• Document overages, shorts, damages, expiration dates, and product conditions.
• Direct outside carriers and unloaders on sorting and segregation of product.
• Maintain product integrity per company standards.
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders, and assign doors.
• Cover for Receiving Clerk as needed.
• Comply with safety rules and production standards.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Be trained and certified to operate required equipment within 30 days.
