Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Receiver to ensure accurate receipt of merchandise, verify quantities and conditions, and maintain inventory integrity. You'll use RF guns and pallet jacks, log data, and support cycle counts to resolve shortages or damages.

Work in a perishable warehouse environment with temperatures ranging 28°F–60°F, performing tasks per SOPs while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in warehouse or receiving role.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and perform basic math and computer tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety focus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand, walk and perform repetitive motions.
• Receiving Certification is preferred.

• Examine and compare incoming shipments with records, recording correct counts, pallet types, and discrepancies.
• Input shipment data into the system, tracking weight, damages, and shortages for reporting and record-keeping.
• Assist with inventory accuracy through cycle counts and address customer service issues related to shortages or damages.
• Label pallets, verify inbound freight against purchase orders, and document discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse management systems and technology such as RF guns and pallet jacks.
• Monitor for pests, maintain safety standards, and support efficient flow from receiving to shipping.
• Perform routine tasks as per SOPs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Relevant experience (1-2 years) in a warehouse or receiving role.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, perform basic math and computer skills.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements.
• Completion of Receiving Certification preferred.

Work Environment:

Perishable warehouse with temperatures between 28°F and 60°F.
