Job summary

Abilene Goodwill Industries is seeking a production associate for warehouse duties in Midland, TX. You will assess item usability, sort accordingly, and process items at designated stations for distribution.

No prior experience is required; training provided. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting and transporting items using carts and pallet equipment, and following safety protocols in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Must exhibit great attention to detail.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions
• Relate appropriately and positively with co-workers
• Must be able to safely handle, lift and carry items
• Maneuver carts and containers filled with clothing and materials
• Must have good vision and use of hands in sorting
• Stooping and bending required
• Standing for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Examine items and sort for bale. (E)
• Use appropriate containers, carts, barrels and racks to separate items (E)
• Follow safety protocols at all times and especially when using equipment in the warehouse. (E)
• Transport goods within warehouse in a safe manner using appropriate equipment (Pallet jacks, forklifts, racks.) (E)
• Safely operate equipment which you have been properly trained to use. (E)
• Meet predetermined goals in a team atmosphere. (E)
• Maintain workspace in accordance with Goodwill procedures and safety protocols. (E)
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
