Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately process receiving, transfers, picks, packs, and ships from our distribution center. You will handle products per established standards and tag pallets for movement while performing general duties such as restocking and housekeeping.

Ideal candidates have at least a half year in warehouse operations with RF equipment and forklifts, good basic math, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum ½ year experience in warehouse operations with RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack and stretch-wrap.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and well organized.
• Cooperative team like attitude.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Handling of product per the warehouse distributor standards (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas).
• Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition from one function/task to the next function/task.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management.
