Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Maryland to accurately process orders with RF scanning devices and material handling equipment, including electric pallet jacks and forklifts, while maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma, basic math skills, and at least 6 months in warehouse operations with a strong attention to detail and a cooperative, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and strong basic math skills.
• Minimum ½ year experience in warehouse operations - including RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack and stretch-wrap machine preferably in warehouse environment.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and well organized.
• Cooperative team like attitude.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Handling of product per the warehouse distributor standards (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack).
• General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas).
• Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition from one function/task to the next function/task.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management.
