Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to perform distribution center tasks with RF barcode scanning and material handling equipment. You will load/unload batteries, restock, and maintain accurate warehouse records in a safe, clean environment.

No prior experience is required, though knowledge of RF devices and forklift operation is preferred. This role involves lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, overtime as needed, and working in a battery warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• No experience required; warehouse experience is a plus, including RF equipment and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Process receiving, transfer, pick, pack and ship transactions accurately.
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries and manage rotations.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations; test and date batteries as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean warehouse environment and accurate reporting.
• Operate forklift with current certification and tag pallets as needed.
• Perform general warehousing duties and support other functions as required.
