Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately process warehouse transactions and operate RF scanning devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment. You will support receiving, transfers, picking, packing, and shipping, while maintaining accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Strong math skills, a high school diploma, and a cooperative, team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and strong basic math skills.
• Minimum ½ year of warehouse operations experience with RF devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, and stretch-wrap.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn systems.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
• Cooperative, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Process receiving, transfer, pick, pack, and ship transactions.
• Handle products per warehouse standards (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, pack, ship.
• Perform general warehousing duties and housekeeping of assigned areas.
• Multitask and transition between functions/tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management.
