Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Austin, TX to pick and pack orders, print labels, and inspect products for shipping readiness. You will use equipment to kit items and support receiving demands while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, along with a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail required.
• Pass background and drug screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• May operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms and records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets per regulations.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specs are met.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate and report incidents.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
