Job summary

Kenco Group, a leading 3PL provider, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX. You will pick and pack orders, print labels, inspect products, and use equipment to prepare shipments for loading and receiving.

Ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with shipping regulations while maintaining a clean work area. Responsibilities include recording data, performing quality checks, participating in inventory counts, and reporting variances to supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring correct product type and quantity.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate a forklift or order picker if required for picking orders.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms/records.
• Affix shipping labels and mark boxes per DOT/IATA/IMDG regulations.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specs.
• Perform inventory/cycle counts as needed.
• Maintain neat, orderly work area and ensure inspection readiness.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor; perform misc. duties as assigned.
