Job summary

KENCO Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Austin, TX. The role involves picking/packing orders, labeling, and inspecting items for shipment. You will use standard equipment to prepare orders and ensure accuracy and quality across processes.

Responsibilities include measuring, weighing, and counting products, recording information, and maintaining a clean, inspection-ready workspace. This position supports regulatory readiness and requires physical capability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment and ensure correct item count and type.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate forklift or order picker as needed.
• Pack orders for shipment with parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms/records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets per DOT/IATA/IMDG rules.
• Report missing items or variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specs.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Keep work area clean and inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate and report incidents.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
