Job summary

Kenco Group in Austin, TX is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support picking and packing orders, print labels, and inspect products to ensure accuracy for shipments.

You will operate packing equipment, maintain clean work areas, participate in cycle counts, and help safeguard compliance with SQFI and FDA standards. Prior warehouse experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• May operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets; follow DOT, IATA, IMDG regulations.
• Report missing items or quality variances to direct supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specs; document quality inspections.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work area; keep facility inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate and report any incidents.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
