Job summary

QXO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping of building materials. The role emphasizes safe, efficient warehouse operations, accurate order preparation, and excellent customer service in a busy environment.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with colleagues across warehouse, yard, and sales teams. The job involves physical tasks, forklift operation, and occasional overtime or weekend work as business needs

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in warehouse or distribution environments.
Ability to stand, lift up to 75 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
Forklift experience or certification preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Customer service orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Pull, stage, verify, and prepare orders according to work orders, pick tickets, and shipping documentation.
Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming inventory.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
Maintain organized storage locations and accurate inventory records.
Assist customers and drivers with loading materials and customer pickups.
Collaborate with warehouse, yard, sales, shipping, and operations teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
