Job summary

SRS Building Products in Sanford, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials. You will log, count, and store items, load outbound orders, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse.

Ideal candidates bring forklift certification, experience in high-volume distribution, and proficiency with inventory software and Excel. Spanish language skills and OSHA knowledge are a plus; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certification required or preferred.
• Experience with high-volume distribution environments is a plus.
• Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiar with industry-specific software applications.
• Proficient in Spanish or another secondary language.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety.
• Experience conducting safety audits and training sessions.
• Adaptable to changing environments and challenges.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and math for inventory counts.
• Effective time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, verify, and unload incoming orders and shipments; log and store materials per standards.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks; ensure correct product handling and documentation.
• Maintain organized, clean warehouse and yard; uphold safety and operations standards.
• Manage inventory by rotating stock and reporting discrepancies or damage.
• Collaborate with team to support a productive, team-first work environment; assist as needed.
