Job summary

SRS Building Products - San Diego seeks a Warehouse Associate to manage receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials in a fast-paced environment. You will verify and log shipments, unload goods, and ensure accurate storage while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Collaboration with teammates is essential to uphold a team-first culture. The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, operating forklifts, and adhering to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in high-volume distribution environments preferred.
• Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Spanish or another secondary language is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety.
• Experience conducting safety audits and training sessions.
• Able to adapt to changing environments and challenges.
• Basic computer skills and math for inventory counts.
• Strong time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, verify, and unload incoming orders and shipments; log and store materials.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks, ensuring correct handling and documentation.
• Keep warehouse clean and safe; maintain general yard and office areas.
• Manage inventory by distributing materials and rotating stock; report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
