Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Porter in Westfield, MA. The role involves keeping warehouse aisles clean, managing spills, and ensuring product slots are tidy. Night shifts run 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with a total starting rate of $22.00 per hour including freezer premium and shift differential.

Schedule includes Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday. Paid training, benefits from day 1, and weekly pay are part of the employment package.

These critical roles help to support our prideful work environment and the delivery of high quality product to our customers.

Job Description

• Earn $19.00 per hour + $2.00 freezer premium pay + $1.00 shift differential ($22.00 total start rate)

• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday

• Night Shift: 7:00PM to 5:30AM

• 61 Medeiros Way, Westfield MA 01089

You will contribute by:

• Clean and maintain warehouse aisles and product slots.

• Clean spills including damaged product, oil, grease, broken glass, etc. May require use of sawdust, brooms, mops, or shovels.

• Clean slot with cleaning supplies and an electric scrubber, and replace product.

• Occasionally pull product out of the slot with a pallet jack and cleaning behind it with the proper supplies and a scrubber.

• Cleaning break areas and offices when necessary.

• Collecting and baling plastic wrap throughout your shift.

• Sweep, mop, buff and wax floors. Vacuum carpeted offices/working areas.

• Clean bathrooms. (May be required to use bleach products.)

• Collect shredded paper and empty boxes. Collect paper to be taken to compactor. Empty trash cans.

• Clean fire extinguishers. Clean windows. Ensure lights are turned off and doors are locked when appropriate.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
