Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a dedicated custodian/janitor for our North East, MD facilities. The role focuses on keeping warehouses, offices and break areas clean and safe to support high-quality product delivery to our customers.

You will perform duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing floors, handling spills, and following material handling safety procedures. Training is provided, and weekly pay plus comprehensive benefits are available from day one.

Responsibilities

• Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor
• Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
• Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors
• Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
• Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.
• Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
• Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

Job Description

You will contribute by:

• Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor
