Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing janitorial duties across the warehouse and office spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff and wax floors; occasionally move products using pallet jack.
• Tend to spills and damaged product; collect debris and dispose of boxes properly.
• Follow all material handling and safety procedures for equipment use and lifting.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE as required.

Job Description

Earn $18 per hour1st Shift ( 6:00 am to 2:30 pm)3300 NW 123rd St. Miami, FL

You will contribute by:

• Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor - Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
• Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors - Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
• Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.
• Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
• Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ab ility and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
