Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Associate to hand-build pallets and load trailers in a fast-paced warehouse. You will move through the facility using a pallet jack and verify correct products for shipment.

Responsibilities include selecting items, labeling, stacking on pallets, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks. Maintain cleanliness, report safety or stock issues, and complete paperwork. Must be able to lift 50–90 lbs and work English-based communications with basic math.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Reads pick sheets and travels to proper warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Picks proper product type and quantity, labels products and places on a pallet and loads the pallet on trucks.
• Handles products and builds pallets according to food safety procedures.
• Ensures warehouse is clean and safe; reports spills or damaged cases.
• Communicates with management about issues.
• Operates forklifts and pallet jacks safely; reports equipment issues.
• Completes paperwork and tracks time with a wearable computer.
• Works assigned schedule with regular attendance; may work overtime.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
