Job summary
Sysco Northeast Rdc is looking for associates in Wisconsin and Oregon. You will be responsible for hand-building pallets of products, loading trailers, and following food safety guidelines. Applicants should have a high school diploma and preferably 6 months of warehouse experience. A forklift and pallet jack certification is required. Candidates will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, ensuring safety and productivity standards are met while being exposed to various conditions.
Qualifications
6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred.
Forklift and pallet jack license/certification required.
Responsibilities
Reads pick sheets and travels to proper warehouse locations.
Picks products, labels, and loads on trucks according to standards.
Builds pallets according to food safety procedures.
Maintains clean and safe warehouse conditions.
Communicates with management about relevant issues.
Operates all company warehouse equipment safely.
Completes paperwork and tracks time for productivity.
Skills
Knowledge of safe lifting procedures
Skill in building pallets quickly
Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
Communication skills in English
