Job summary

Bay State Milling Company is seeking a Packing Loading and Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the packing, loading of bag and bulk flour trucks, and related sanitation in the department. The role requires coordinating with scheduling to meet shipping demands, supervising staff, and maintaining inventory and reports across the packing and loading operations.

Qualifications

• Possess an A.A. degree from a two-year college or technical school.
• Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and DBC.
• Capable of performing basic math functions.
• Capable of following and communicating written and verbal instructions in English.
• Capable of writing and presenting reports to all levels of management within the Corporation.
• Must be available on call, 7 days a week.
• Possess good people skills to train and lead employees.
• Independent worker with self-initiative.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate packing activities with scheduling to meet shipping demands.
• Oversee bulk loading, inventory tracking, and directing packing/ loading staff.
• Prepare daily reports on flour bins, bagged flour, packing, routing, inbound material, and truck checks.
• Conduct first-of-month inventory counts with a team.
• Maintain sanitation, GMP, HACCP, safety, and food safety programs; document compliance.
• Manage packing/loading department within budgetary standards.
