Job summary

Bay State Milling in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Packing Loading and Warehouse Supervisor to oversee packing, loading and warehousing operations, ensuring safety, quality and productivity in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating packing to meet shipping demands, supervising staff, maintaining daily inventory and production reports, and enforcing GMP/HACCP programs within budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• Possess an A.A. degree from a two-year college or technical school or have 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Knowledgeable of computer operations, able to use Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and DBC.
• Capable of performing basic math functions, with or without a calculator.
• Capable of following and communicating written and verbal instructions in English.
• Capable of writing and orally presenting reports to all levels of management within the Corporation.
• Required to be available, on call, at all times of the day or night, seven days a week.
• Possess good people skills to train and lead employees under direct supervision.
• Needs to be an independent worker with self-initiative to carry out job functions.
• Possess strong mechanical skills, to troubleshoot mechanical problems and direct maintenance.
• Must be able to work in environments with extremes in temperature; climb ladders; stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate packing activities with office scheduling to meet shipping demands.
• Manage bulk loading, inventory tracking of finished product and packing materials; direct teams.
• Prepare daily reports on flour inventories, packing reports, routing sheets, and inspections.
• Conduct first of month inventory counts for bagged products and packing materials.
• Maintain sanitation, GMPs, HACCP, safety, and food safety programs with documentation.
• Operate packing and loading departments within budgetary standards.
