Job summary

Bay State Milling Company in Indiantown, FL is seeking a team-oriented loading and sanitation associate to prepare truckloads of flour for shipping, assist mill crews, and maintain cleanliness and records. The role requires following safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure product quality.

You will work rotating shifts, 40 hours plus overtime, with a focus on accuracy, equipment maintenance, and timely reporting to the Plant Manager and Quality Control Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks safely and efficiently.
• Blends various flours and treats those flours with ingredients to meet customer and BSM Co. specifications.
• Performs accurate quality assurance testing.
• Moves tractor trailers for loading and staging.
• Transfers flour bin to bin as needed.
• Maintains equipment in the bulk loading system as required.
• Completes the tasks on the Master Cleaning Schedule for bulk loading and keeps the records up to date.
• Assist the mill crews when directed in operations, sanitation, safety, performance of the mills.
• Keeps all of the bulk loading areas and the mill office clean and sanitary at all times.
• Keeps accurate records of flour loads, trailers, inventories, etc. as directed.
• Work on rotating shifts shall be required. Forty hours per week plus daily/weekend overtime as the job requires.
