Job summary

ADM Milling – Carbohydrate Solutions in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Packaging and Loading Superintendent to oversee packaging and load-out operations at a 13,500 cwt/day flour mill. This exempt role develops programs and SOPs, trains staff, and maintains safety and quality standards to drive production excellence.

The Superintendent reports to the Plant Manager and will lead capital projects, improve processes, and nurture cross-departmental relationships to achieve optimal yields and product

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan production for packaging and load-out systems.
• Work with scheduling department to maximize efficiency.
• Proactively lead and support operational excellence initiatives.
• Provide technical knowledge for processes and equipment to obtain performance.
• Utilize production personnel and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to obtain maximum capacity and performance with optimum yields and quality product.
• Plan, initiate and put into operation, plant improvement projects on time and on budget.
• Continually train and develop operational staff.
