Job summary

Michigan Sugar Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage sugar handling, packaging, warehousing, shipping and receiving. You will work with sales and quality teams to meet customer demands in a safe SQF environment. Leadership will coach employees on safe operations and promote teamwork.

The role requires supervising packaging, warehousing and shipping, directing Lift Truck Operators, and ensuring SOP, GMP, and safety training. Strong planning and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management or equivalent experience.
• Proficient computer skills for communication, documentation, and ordering supplies.
• Ability to manage preventive maintenance plans and required documentation.
• Food safety training or willingness to obtain training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory, packaging, warehousing, shipping and receiving.
• Supervise scheduling, onboarding, and employee development in SOP, GMP/Food Safety and Safety.
• Direct Lift Truck Operators for inventory needs and logistics coordination.
• Enforce company policies, labor laws, and collective bargaining agreements.
