OnTrac is hiring a Lead Package Handler!

Location: 565 S Pinnacle, Romeoville, IL 60446

Pay Target: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
AND Monday - Thursday from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight). Hours are subject to change based on the needs of the business.

Employment Responsibilities:

• Oversee the offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution in our warehouse.
• Work closely with Sort and Operations Managers to train new hires, support business metrics, and uphold company values.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of both
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise the offloading and sorting of incoming packages and prepare outgoing freight for delivery.
• Train sorters to perform tasks safely and accurately.
• Provide ongoing feedback to sorters, both positive and corrective.
• Inspect packages to ensure they are safe for transportation.
