Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Springfield, VT, is hiring for a warehouse position responsible for selecting cases and containers to fulfill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage. You will load pallets, move orders to the shipping dock, and ensure safety and quality standards throughout the process.

The role requires operating pallet jacks, lifting up to 60–100 lbs, and working in multi-temperature environments with required training.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly.
• Ability to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs (location dependent).
• Ability to work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along racks to locate products according to order sheets.
• Move completed orders to shipping dock staging area and wrap/readied for shipment.
• Remove batteries, replace with charged batteries, and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and safety checks.
